I’m really working on the circle hands as I called it, which is in reality a very conscious cloud hands exercise. Aedh worked with me this week on getting it two handed. I’d refused his efforts to do that early last year cause it was too confusing. It’s pretty confusing!
He worked with me on the weight change and the waist turn, and obviously my hands, but what stands out is the constant of “shift, pivot.” Especially in push hands one moves, then pivots cause otherwise you end up with nowhere to go. And he has been showing me how this applies to the form.
